This week has been crazy busy and just full of emotion. I am sure you will understand why as I tell you about what went on this week. But first I would like to share with you my spiritual message.... JESUS LOVE YOU!!! I know that is not an amazing thought but I want you all to know that Jesus does love everyone. If He didnt then He would have never performed the atonement. The atonement is something that He did out of love. He felt every pain and sorrow that we have and ever will feel. Heavenly Father wants all of his children to return to him and the only way we can is using the steps that he has provided for us and that is having faith, repenting, getting baptized and then taking the sacrament after being baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost and then enduring to the end. Making sure that we always are following those steps and staying as close as we can to the gospel. I love this church with all my heart and I am so happy that I get to share this gospel with everyone around me.
Well, Monday was pretty awesome. It was P-Day of course and we played gator ball and it was pretty awesome! I killed it out there! I never really cared for the game but then I got into it and now, yeah, its awesome! That night we went to have dinner at a place called Artic Circle and it was pretty good. And that was about all that happened that day. Games and food! Yup, sounds like a good day to me :)
Tuesday we had our district meeting and of course, since we have the best district ever, it was great! As we were leaving the district meeting we were listening to some music, it was kids singing I hope they call me on a mission and in the song they rap and the elders were attempting to dance. Yeah lets just say this.. They are very white. Haha That night we had dinner with a family and we were going to go out for ice cream cones and what they call that is.. Going to go get a tall cold one. Haha I thought that was pretty great!
Wednesday we taught Easton the plan of salvation and it went really well.
He is learning everything pretty fast. That night we went to have dinner with one of the bishops and we had steak! It was so good! :) First time in a long time that I had steak! Okay, well I am completely out of time. I have to go get my hair cut and my appointment is in ten minutes. So I need to end my email. :( But I want to tell you about what happened on Sunday. We received a phone call from President Brinkerhoff and he was telling sister Barnett that someone was sick and that she needed to be transferred to take her place. She is moving up to Rexburg. Oh, I havent told you that we had transfers two weeks ago and we were staying together because I am still in training. Well, Guess what! I am training a new missionary. Eight weeks out and I am already training. I am not even done with my training lol I am so excited! I was called as senior companion. So that means that I get to drive! YAYY Well I am completely out of time! I love everyone so much!
Love, Sister Halbison
